Our Story
A family-first senior care service born out of compassion, right here in St Louis.
Founded in 2010 by Jeff and Janice Noser, Good Samaritan Senior Care is a local, family owned and operated provider of non-medical, in home care servicing the St. Louis metropolitan area. Prior to Good Samaritan, Janice was a manager in retail stores and worked in coordinator positions at non-profit organizations. Jeff was employed in sales, sales management and executive management in the sporting goods industry. Janice utilizes her experiences to manage the day to day operation of the business while Jeff uses his skills to assist with the back-end operation of Good Samaritan.
Janice, a small-town girl from southeast Missouri and a graduate of the University of Missouri, has firsthand knowledge of providing care for a loved one. After her Dad was diagnosed with cancer, Janice moved back home to assist in the care of her father. Working alongside her Mom, two sisters and eventually hospice care, Janice experienced the importance of caring for family which opened her heart to senior care and the fulfilling gift and privilege of serving others.
Jeff was raised in South St. Louis and a graduate of Westminster College (Fulton, MO). He experienced the struggles of caregiving as his father, along with siblings, provided home care while his mother battled cancer and emphysema. It was this life moment that led to his motivation in creating Good Samaritan Senior Care.
Jeff and Janice are active volunteers in their Church community. They are proud parents of three beautiful daughters; Amy (Jon), Sarah and Rachel. A beautiful grandaughter, Gemma brings a tremendous amount of joy and love to their lives. As animal lovers, they are also the “parents” of two rescue dogs; Coal and Emmy.
