Read what our caregivers say about working at
Good Samaritan Senior Care:
"Good Samaritan Senior Care makes sure you get all the training you need. They are always updating their training and let you know when new courses are available. They find training courses for us. We are recognized with cards and gifts cards when we do something helpful. They have parties to show their appreciation for us. They also have "Employee of the Month." I call the office very often and they always pick up the phone. They help me solve my issues and direct me in the right direction. They are extremely professional. I am matched very well with my clients. They know to send me to people's houses with cats because I am a cat person. They take everything into account when matching. They know I'm not available on weekends and they work with me and listen to me."

"I like working here because of the personnel. The owner reaches out to employees because we all work in homes and do not get to see each other that much. The owner is generous with her demeanor and respects the people that work for her. It is very family oriented. Good Samaritan Senior Care sends birthday cards and gift cards. The owner has special get togethers with presents to let you know you are appreciated. I've been noticed by the company as "Employee of the Month" and was given a nice pictured plaque. The communication with the office is effective because they always text message with you. They are appreciative and get back with you if you call the office and need to discuss certain clients. I have worked for them for two years. I once got a notification that they needed someone. I already have an 8-hour shift with a client that's difficult. I just said that I can't do it. They are gracious about it when I say I can't. They seem like a very grateful team."

"I would recommend Good Samaritan Senior Care because they are willing to work with your schedule. The training equipped me for the clients I work with. We are recognized with cards and text messages. They have given out gift cards, too. The office support staff are quick to get back to me. They pair me up with people that match with me."

"I worked with Good Samaritan Senior Care in 2019. They asked me if I wanted to work again. They had a one-on-one interview with me and answered all of my questions. I like that they are very honest and reliable. The owners are very personable. I was able to look at the things for additional training. I received a plaque and a travel mug as recognition of my accomplishments. I know they are always there to help me, if I need more information. I have never been sent to a client that I could not work with. They are a good company to work for."

"Good Samaritan Senior Care is a very good company to work for. You can learn a lot with their training. They match me with clients that I am able to take care of. They give parties to recognize their caregivers. They let you know when a family send in a note about you. They will always acknowledge you. The office staff are all very nice and kind."
- Avis, September 2023
"The staff seemed very nice at Good Samaritan Senior Care when I went for my interview and orientation. I liked that it was only me at my training. I was able to ask questions and it was one on one. I like that the office staff texts you about a new client and ask if you want to accept it or deny it. They tell you about the client before you go to the client. I like the clients. The office staff texts you thanking you about accomplishments you have done or shifts that you picked up. They call or text you to see if I need an extra shift or if I am having trouble. Someone is always there to answer your questions. I like the fact that they take into consideration when I go to a client's home and I am not a good fit. They get me another client and do not put me on the schedule for that client. I did need more hours, but I don't need it anymore."
- Binti, August 2023
"Good Samaritan Senior Care is willing to work with you. They offer training plus extra help if needed. They give goodie bags, prizes and Caregiver of the Month. The office is very open with communicating with us. They try to match clients and caregivers with the same interest. The only suggestion I have is to change to cotton shirts."
- Anna, August 2023
"I appreciate the flexibility Good Samaritan Senior Care shows for the employees. They are very thorough and make sure I understand and am comfortable with the client. I am a people person, so I can get along with anybody. They have employee get togethers with food and for socializing. They do raffles and events as well. If I have an emergency, the office will find someone to cover my shift. They are a good company, but I would like to see the office more often."
- Keevon, August 2023
"I like that Good Samaritan Senior Care is nice and generous. There are things in training that refreshed my memory and helped me with my clients. I like that they have picnics and shows concern when there is a death or the employee gets sick. I like that the office staff is caring and show that they care about their clients. I like to show some trust to my clients that I am there to help them. I let them know that I am not there to harm them, but to be responsible and aware of what I am doing to help them. I wish they could keep refreshing the training classes that we have had."
- Patricia, July 2023
"Good Samaritan Senior Care is a highly rated company. I switched from another agency to this one. The agency is very family oriented and understands that it comes first. They also work with my schedule. The agency just had a caregiver appreciation party with food and prizes. The office staff texts employees with open shifts available to help you get more hours. They tell you the client"s needs and wants. I know their schedule and the medicine they take. I am comfortable inside their home. I think they said there is a yearly review where they inspect your work. I wish it was 6 months. This is just an idea or suggestion and personal preference."
- Josie, July 2023
"I like that I get to choose the hours that work out well for me and that I don't have to drive too far. The training reaffirmed knowledge that I already had and kept me up to date on things that are happening. The company give us little parties and things like that. They give us gift cards from time to time and I've had Caregiver of the Month."
- Wendy, July 2023
"I was happy I got employment. I came in with experience. They were hands-on and made sure I knew everything and that I felt comfortable with the client. Good Samaritan Senior Care has Caregiver of the Month, gift cards, and phone calls to let you know that you got a compliment from the client or from the office. The office staff gives you information in a timely manner if something comes up. I got everything I wanted, from the hours to the client."
- Latrice, July 2023
"Everybody is wonderful. The training I have received gave us great advice and helped me with my work. Good Samaritan Senior Care acknowledges me and tells me how much of a wonderful job I have been doing. They give gift cards and little things like that.
The office staff is always there in an emergency. You can rely on them for anything. They know exactly what I can and can't do with my skills. They also take my area into consideration. There is nothing they can do to improve. They're phenomenal!"
- Tasha, June 2023
"I chose Good Samaritan Senior Care because I like what they had and the quality of care for employees and clients. It sounded like a well-rounded company. I like that they stay in touch with you when you're starting with a new employer. I did enjoy meeting the different people in the office. Everything was really descriptive. Every employee that came in, I noticed they were pretty consistent with their description of the owner. You got a good picture of their vision.
They meet you at the client's house and make sure you are comfortable before leaving there. They check back up with you to make sure everything is going fine, not just on the first day. The office staff checks up frequently and not far in between. They keep up checking in on you. The company did a pretty good match with my client. They are all pretty pleasant and welcoming as far as me coming into their home. I have had no issues with them and carrying out their needs."
